Minor Illness & Injury Clinic
Nurse Prescribers can assess your needs, provide treatment, and prescribe medication.
Your appointment fee covers a full consultation.
Suitable for:
- Medical Certificates: for work/school – for acute illness
- Illnesses: Colds, flu, earaches, sinus infections, and urinary tract infections (UTIs).
- Injuries: Sprains, strains, and minor cuts.
- Infections: Skin infections and conjunctivitis.

Recently injured and need a dressing change?
We provide comprehensive services for ACC, medical, and post-operative wounds.
Your appointment fee covers a full consultation and a standard* dressing.
Suitable for:
Dressing changes
Suture/staple removal
Wound reviews
Change of dressings after surgery
Terms & Conditions
Payment & Booking Confirmation:
- Payment at Booking: Full payment is required when you make your booking.
- Confirmation Email: You will receive a confirmation email upon successful payment and booking.
Booking Suitability & Adjustments:
- Clinical Review: All booking information is reviewed by clinical staff to ensure the appointment is appropriate for your needs.
- Further Contact: The clinic may contact you for additional information or to make adjustments to your appointment if necessary.
- Unsuitable Bookings:
- If your self-booked appointment is deemed unsuitable for the wound clinic, you may be moved to the urgent care clinic queue.
- Alternatively, you may be contacted to discuss alternative options.
Additional Fees
- Complex Dressings/Wounds:
- Dressings or wounds requiring non-standard products.
- Consultation with a doctor or nurse practitioner for prescriptions (pain, infection).
- Medical certificate requests.
- Extension of ACC medical certificates.
- Non-ACC Covered Appointments: Appointments in the wound care clinic not covered by ACC may incur additional charges.
Rescheduling & Cancellation:
- 24-Hour Policy: Rescheduling or canceling appointments is not permitted within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.
- No-Refund Policy: If you fail to attend your appointment, you will not receive a refund.
