A Southern man, Dr Carlos Lam Yang became highly qualified in medicine at the University of Otago and spent his formative years in the South. Initially, Carlos lived and trained in Dunedin and Christchurch. Later, he brought his skills to Auckland to complete his Urgent Care and GP training. Moreover, Dr Lam Yang also speaks fluent Cantonese. Naturally, this makes him a valuable addition to our ethnically diverse Howick, East Auckland community.
After hours, Dr Lam Yang likes to spend time travelling with his family. Including going on hikes around various trails or attending multiple kid-friendly events in Auckland with his two energetic kids. Also, Carlos is a keen runner and loves anthropology and geopolitics.
