With an extensive background in NZ Health Care, East Care is fortunate to have Benedict Hefford at the helm of our Urgent Care Clinic. As CEO of Care Group, Benedict Hefford oversees numerous health care portfolios, including East Care Specialist Centre.

Formerly Director of Strategy & Implementation at South Link Health, Benedict also spent seven years at Counties Manukau District Health Board (now Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau). Moreover, at the Ministry of Health, he was in the busy role of Interim General Manager, System Strategy.

So, before joining as Chief Executive Officer at Care Group, our team already knew Benedict well.

Benedict Hefford is a graduate of King’s College London.

Unsurprisingly, Benedict Hefford has extensive experience in Primary, Community and Integrated care. So, he’s passionate about future growth and innovation in NZ health care.

Having studied Public Service Policy Management at King’s College, London, Benedict has exercised his knowledge both in the NHS, UK and NZ public and private healthcare sectors. Whilst at King’s his dissertation focused on ‘The use of lean production systems in the public services’.

The East Care Clinic is located on 260 Botany Road, Howick 2013, Auckland.

Parking information. Onsite parking is readily available both in front of the clinic and behind the facility. Moreover, we have Disabled parking right outside our main doors. Our main entrance is on Botany Road.
